Modentic's high temperature knife gate valves is available in Lugged and Flanged End Connection in size range of 2 inch to 24 inch having pressure rating of Class 150. Knife Gate Valve Seat Options Include Metal Seat and Resilient Seat which can be offered as Unidirectional and Bidirectional.

Knife gate valves designed for use in the pulp and paper industry. Utilizing a sharp, beveled edge, a knife gate was ideally designed to cut through the stringy pulp encountered in the pulp and paper industries. The benefits of knife gates also include that they are easy to actuate and cheap to produce can be applied wastewater treatment, oil and gas, mining, and power. Knife gate valves became advantageous in sludge and slurry applications because their blades can cut right through thick liquids easily.
